When I moved to Australia from Belgium (via France and the UK), I immediately fell in love with the food. The quality of food here is simply exceptional, and I love that there are still lots of little producers all over the country making food by hand, the artisanal way.
I found myself less and less enticed by a corporate career in finance and started daydreaming about weekend farmers markets, until one day I decided to fill my days with food.
I’m most passionate about reconnecting people to the producers; I want to tell their stories and the journey behind the products. It’s also really important to me that food is made with good quality ingredients, naturally made and grown rather than artificially produced and flavoured.
I've been in love with food and the science behind it for as long as I can remember. I first started working at a health food store when I was 15, and am now studying Naturopathy.
I met Joni in early 2016 when we worked together at an organic grocer across town. We immediately got on like a house on fire so I couldn't be happier to be part of The Food Repository.
