Made in Melbourne, Eighteen Thousand Islands' satay sauces and spice pastes are the brainchild of Chris and Merv, two cousins of Indonesian descent, who developed a cult following using their grandmother’s original recipes in their Flinders Lane Sataybar over a decade ago. Having sold Sataybar in 2012, they’ve returned - this time to bottle their recipes and share it with others at home.
Rated by The Age as one of the "Top 5 New-Wave Sauces,” Eighteen Thousand Islands products are gluten free, locally made and full of authentic Indonesian flavours.
