The team behind Just Jerky have always been curious explorers. One day, during a snowy adventure, they found themselves eating beef jerky on the slopes to keep fuelled, and soon realised that Australia didn't have access to clean, high quality jerky. And so they set out to make it themselves.
Making jerky is relatively straight-forward: beef jerky is lean meat that has been trimmed of fat, cut into strips and then dried to prevent spoilage. But it's the quality of the meat used along with the ingredients and drying process that all contribute to the taste and health benefits of the Jerky. The Just Jerky team have scouted Australia to find the best quality grass-fed beef, and are proud to use 100% Australian beef. All ingredients are hand-picked from the finest ingredients available, ensuring the jerky is all natural - all the time. Just Jerky is then cooked at a very low temperature - 40 degrees over 48 hours - to ensure the full nutritional profile of the grass-fed beef remains intact.
