Growing up, mum would give us pistachios as a snack, hoping the task of opening up the shells would slow us down and keep us from scoffing down gigantic portions. Not sure her plan worked that well. We are, however, entirely on Team Pistachio now. It's not often you find a nutty chocolate bar that uses the little green nuts, we're glad Monsieur Truffe gave it a try. And nailed it. Salt-roasted in house and folded into 72% dark chocolate from the Dominican Republic, we dare you not to eat the whole bar at once.
About Monsieur Truffe
Monsieur Truffe began as a one-man operation at Prahran market back in 2006 with a simple selection of bars and delights. Their commitment to making high-quality chocolate using an artisanal approach has been well received by the community and quickly propelled their growth.
They’ve since operated out of a store in Collingwood before trading solely out of a new factory space in Brunswick East, and have significantly expanded their bar range over the years. All chocolate bars are made and hand-wrapped at the factory using environmentally friendly packaging.
