Ironbark honey is mild in strength with a smooth sweetness and lightly fruity flavour. It's produced from the nectar of Eucalyptus Sideroxylon trees in the Warby Ranges in North-East Victoria. This raw honey is unheated and unstrained, which means it has come straight out of the honeycomb and straight into the jars. It  has crystalised to a white colour with an incredibly smooth and creamy texture.

Ironbark honey is naturally less sweet than other honeys. If you want to add a touch of sweetness, opt for the Ironbark with Stringybark blend.

Be aware: due to Australian quarantine restrictions we are unable to send this honey to WA and Kangaroo Island.

About Raw Honey

Raw Honey is a small family apiary business located in Northern Victoria, dedicated to producing quality cold extracted pure honey varieties. Beekeeping has been in Moss MacGibbon's family for generations, and in 2007 she started operating market stalls at the weekend at 7 different markets. Their  honey extraction equipment is located at Nalinga which is approximately 30km east of Shepparton, and the bees are then relocated within an hour’s drive from there, in Northern and North-Eastern Victoria,  which is home to many different varieties of Eucalyptus. Raw Honey apiary pride themselves in their authentic honey production, and are proud to show off the natural crystallisation of their honeys which is proof they don't overheat the honeys, locking in all beneficial properties and flavour.
